Mechanical Engineer
Location: Penang

Responsibilities

• Assisting with planning, conducting and evaluating approaches to meet project objectives in timely and cost effective fashion
• Assist in identifying and organizing requirements. Apply usability procedures and principles at project through client's input
• Detailed design mechanical, electrical and process services installation in various type of buildings e.g. hospital, residential, factory, commercial, hotel and etc
• Conduct and or participate in technical reviews of specifications, designs, codes and local authority requirements and etc
• Using computer aided design (CAD) software and other resources to design MEP systems required for projects
• Using and developing Building Information Modeling (BIM) to ensure systems are coordinated in a complex construction projects
• Managing and forecasting spend, using whole life cycle costing techniques, ensuring that work is kept to budget and energy efficient systems are implemented
• Overseeing and supervising the installation of building systems and specifying maintenance and operating procedures

 

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Mechanical Engineering with minimum 2 years working experience in building industry (preferably in Consulting Engineering Firm)
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Posses own transport and willing to travel (within Malaysia or oversea) for working purpose
• Posses strong analytical and communication skill
• Highly innovative, independent, self motivated, mature, mentally strong and responsible personality
• Must be able to work effectively in team or individual situation
