Ir. Ts. WONG Kok Nian

Senior Electrical Engineer

With 9 years of experience, Ir. Ts. WONG Kok Nian possesses comprehensive expertise in designing and developing electrical systems and components ranging from Low Voltage to 132kV. His work emphasizes economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability. He also has extensive knowledge in ICT systems, integrated security system design, and renewable energy Solar PV implementation.

Ir. Wong has contributed to various industries, including factories, educational buildings, commercial mall complexes, high-rise residential projects, renewable energy, electrical infrastructure, and medical centers. His professional roles encompass project management, contract administration, site supervision, and leading the office's Quality Management System (ISO-QMS).

He is a Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate, Registered Electrical Energy Manager (REEM) with the Energy Commission (ST), an International Professional Engineer (IntPE), an APEC Engineer, an ASEAN Engineer, and an ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE).

Beyond his professional commitments, Ir. Wong is an active member of The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM), Penang Branch. He served as the Executive Committee Member for the 2021/2022 session, is the immediate past Chairman of the IEM Young Engineers Section, and is actively involved as a committee member in various sub-committees.

In recognition of his contributions, he was conferred the Pingat Jasa Masyarakat (PJM) by the Governor of Penang during His Excellency's 73rd birthday celebration in 2022.
